Our casa
Casa Cockatoo is a queer and gay men’s co-living space in the heart of Bonfim, Porto. It was started by Jesse Akers, an expat from the USA who has been living in Portugal for over a decade. Jesse loves to call Portugal home and has made it his mission to create welcoming spaces in Porto for people to gather and enjoy all this city has to offer. His first venture was opening one of the only queer bars in the city and now his dream is creating something beyond nightlife.
Our rooms and suites
Casa Cockatoo has three floors with three cockatoo-themed units. With a shared common area, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom on the top floor.
Each room/suite gets a plethora of sunlight and has its own AC unit.
